When sending out emails there are some things you can do to get a better optin rate for the customer or for yourself.

1) The best method is by creating an email that specifically tells the subscriber, before clicking, that they will need to enter an email address to get what you are advertising.
One way I use is using a subject line that says something like Swap Me! Then saying in the body something like I will swap you your email address for a great money making system.

2) Make the link they click say something  like Enter Email Now

3) Use a landing page or bridge page. This tends to filter out bots.

4) Sending out an email that is specifically targeted to the offer using the exact same phrases and even adding pictures.
Add curiosity by saying they need to optin to find out more details. Don’t just say click here for meore details and then up pops an optin form.
