A great way to get subscribers is to run your own Pay Per Lead (PPL) program. I pay 0.75 per Tier 1 (except No Canada) in my PPL program.
You can payout whatever you want. The more you pay the more leads you will get. The typical range is 0.50-$1 per lead (not per click)
This is cheaper than buying a SOLO since if you have a 40% optin page and you pay 0.40/click you are paying $1 per subscriber. And that is for around 70% tier 1.
How much you make directly after opting in isn’t relevant since you can do the same thing with a subscriber in a PPL program.

The benefits are cheaper leads, only tier 1 leads, and you only pay after you receive and optionally test all the leads. Since you are not paying per clicks you save a ton of money on bad converting solos.

You also don’t have to spend time looking for SOLOs as people just send to you. of course you have to have a budget to be able to cover the cost at the end of the month or whatever you use for your terms.

You can also accept a broader range of traffic since you are paying per optin not per click. Many people love to send exit pop traffic to PPL programs.

In my PPL I count leads from the 1st of the month to the last day of the month and then pay the affiliates on the 7th of the month. This gives me a week to make sure thee is not an issue with the leads. I sometimes mail them to make sure they are responsive.

You can run a PPL program yourself by just giving tracking links manually to affiliates you approve and checking the optins at the end of the month and paying based on the optin count. Just make a note of the end of the month count to carry forward to the next month. You don’t want to just reset the count because you do not want to pay the next month for a duplicate lead you got the previous month so you just want it continuously counting up for every affiliate.

There is a better way though by using software designed specifically for running PPL programs called List Profit Generator. John Cornetta released this software a few years ago and then Kevin Fahey bought him out and now runs it.

The software is self hosted so you need to install it on your own domain. He has a version that will run on multiple domains as well. This is the better way to go.

If you have ClickMagick it also has a way to do some bot blocking. Kevin has a video that shows how to do this.

There are some scammers out there that run software to automatically optin in subscribers. Many people fear this but it is actually less a problem than buying bad solo traffic. After all you don’t pay until after you have already received the traffic and can evaluate it. Kevin has a video that shows how to do this.

You can choose to pay on single optin leads or double optin leads, what countries to pay for and whether to auto approve members. It is safer to manually approve affiliates.
Since you are only paying for certain countries you can do whatever you want with the other countries traffic as you aren’t paying for it. There is an option where to send this traffic.

There are a couple ways to promote your PPL program. You do need people to send traffic. You can simple refer people you already deal with and trust which is a good way to start.
When you buy the software there is an upsell to the developers version that includes Kevin’s team installing the software but more importantly he will email his list of active and trusted PPL promoters recommending your program. These are trusted affiliates from his own program and this is priceless. You can ask him to not promote it until you are ready though in case you want to start slow. But you have to buy it at the time you buy the PPL as it is not available later. I have asked. It is $247 more for this which includes the setup, skype support, promote to his list and a coaching call. If you skip this there is another offer of the same thing w/o the coaching call for $147.

Another way to promote it is through a facebook group of trusted PPL promoters. You have an option to allow other to promote your PPL program and anyone the refer you can pay a second level. In mine I pay 0.05/lead to the second level.
So if you signup to my PPL and get someone else to signup to my PPL and that person sends 1000 leads you make $50 without sending any leads yourself.
I do not recommend this when first getting started as you have no control of the traffic.
