List Spark Review After 6 weeks!
I was on the first webinar that Emka ran on List Spark and signed up immediately on 02/25/2015.
I am a funnel junkie. While I have created many of my own funnels from scratch in HTML or wordpress and can’t resist pre done ones.
I have funnels from Shawn Casey, Richard Legg, and Aaron Danker.
When I saw list spark I thought it would be a great viral listbuilder which means you add a few subscribers and they add more for you.
Turns out it doesn’t work well viraly. However it does build a great recurring monthly income.
It costs $19.95 to join list spark as a pro member. Since the viral doesn’t work don’t bother just joining free version unless you don’t already have a squeeze page and want one done for you.
Here are my stats after 5 weeks and I will discuss them below.
The important numbers here are the 1,448 All Time Direct Subscribers which is an average 39% conversion rate from normal solo, swap, or clickbank traffic. I use exit pop also so didn’t count them as they are always much less.
The $291.98 All Time Direct Sales is how much I have made int the subscribers first month. Some of these are trials so they will increase. For everyone who upgrades to pro for $19.95 per month I get $16.80 per month.
The $134.37 All Time Direct Rebills are the subscribers who stayed at pro after 30 days. At this point it has only been 6 weeks so they haven’t all been in 30 days yet.
Now the bad part is the 17 All Time Passed Through Subscribers. That is the viral part so obviously is not working well.
So my conclusion is that it works well as a method to get subscribers and turn them into recurring income but does not work well to get the viral or free subscribers.

Hi Ed,
Are you making a profit overall after solo ad costs or are the leads pretty much exhausted because hey are shared across so many lists. Are you able to measure earnings per click on this list alone?
kind regards
Mark Salmon
I did not make an upfront profit after solo cost but then one rarely would.
But hopefully enough stay so that after a few months it is.
I haven’t tested the list spark leads separately but don’t think they would be worse than getting optins to any other page.
hi: If I didn’t spend money on solo ads and went just with ad swaps would it still work because you exchange your list with others but it you dont have the list yet , which this is supposed to help you build, then how do you swap?
Yes you cannot do a swap if you have no list. Best bet is to follow the free traffic methods in the training section to get started. I also show a method to get 1K subscribers for $39 when you sign up for my newsletter. It is the first email received immediately.

Agree with pretty much everything you’ve said Ed. Not sure that this is ever going to be a stand alone business though as the freebie seekers neither upgrade nor recruit more opt-ins themselves. The recurring payments may help if everyone remains engaged.
I’m minded to build my own funnel to take my opt-ins into immediately and use List Spark for its high performing (for me 55% opt-ins) squeeze page and pro offer.
