I attended the coolesteventever.com in Orlando Florida on May 16-18th. It was a fantastic event. I love going to events but did not do a good job of networking because I am a bit shy in person. I talked with a few people though but since I didn’t have enough business cards as mentioned below, one of the exercises was difficult having to give out handwritten business cards.

It was run by Omar Martin and John Thornhill and had Mike Filsaime, Dr. Ben Adkins, Anthony Aires, Zynnia a 12year old girl, a few others, and Marc Milburn. I wasn’t aware Marc was a hypnotist so at least now I know how he got me to sign up for his great coaching. LOL!

I chatted with both Marc and his friend Lewis Turner whom I know from the solo ad business. Also ran into Jayson Benoit whom I also know from the solo ad business.

Unfortunately I was on the road for a few days in Atlantic City when I decided to go to the event so I caught a flight the next day rather than driving home, 1 hour drive, and then back to the AC airport, another 1 hour drive.
The hotel the event was held in was advertised as being attached to the Florida Mall so I just bought a few more sets of clothes and was good. I didn’t have enough business cards with me so a good idea is to always keep a few hundred business cards in the car!

Captain Lou was promoting the Marketers Cruise so I decided to signup for that. Hopefully some of you will want to go also. It is Jan 12th through the 19th. It is really just a big vacation with the top marketers including Mike Fisaime and 280 others that have already signed up. It is mostly fun and networking with very little work. Note to myself “Bring Business Cards”

I can’t wait!
