This is based on an android app called cinema that you can either run on a phone, on An Android TV or with an Amazon firestick on a TV.

If running on a TV, your TV needs tohave an HDMI port.

I bought the newest 4k firestick which was in stock at my local Best Buy for $35. You can also order from Amazon.

You do not need to subscribe to any monthly service from Amazon or anywhere else. Buying the firestick is a one time cost. If you already have one, that will work fine.

You do need to create a free Amazon account to use with the firestick if you don’t already have an Amazon account.

The Cinema app works like on demand where you can watch almost anything from yesterday and before. So a sitcom that is on TV now you have to wait a day.

You can even see some movies that are currently at movie theaters but the quality is usually lower.

The advantage of this is many shows already have commercials edited out but if not you can use fast forward, rewind and pause which is in the app.

This does not do real time streaming although there are other android apps that do that. I prefer to watch on my time table.
